Origin of undeadliness

A calque (in some cases a continuation) of the Middle English undeadlinesse, vndeedlinesse, undeadlichnesse, from Old English undēadlīcnes (“immortality”), equivalent to undeadly +‎ -ness; compare the German Unsterblichkeit, a compound formed the same way.
