- A group
*G*is*locally X-indicable*, for any class of groups X, if each of*G*'s finitely generated subgroups maps homomorphically onto some group in X.*G*is*locally H-indicable*, for any group*H*, if each of*G*'s finitely generated subgroups maps homomorphically onto*H*. Thus,*locally indicable*is synonymous with*locally ℤ-indicable*.
