DAX Stock Index
DAX Stock Index Finance Definition
An
index of 30 selected German blue-chip stocks that are traded on the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange. The index was created with a base value of 1,000 on December
31, 1987. Typically, a company must be listed for at least three years prior to
the inclusion of its stock in the DAX. Also, the free-floating capital must be
at least 15 percent.
