microsleep - Medical Definition
A period of attention loss and unresponsiveness that lasts from a few seconds to a few minutes and is often not associated with other characteristics of sleep, such as closed eyes or the perception of having been unconscious. Microsleeps are usually experienced by people who have narcolepsy or are severely deprived of sleep.
