The point to memorizing math facts is to help your child with automaticity.
It is sometimes tempting to rush and have kids start memorizing facts.
While you do this they are memorizing your pin number.
However, don't expect the printed page to excuse you from the necessity of eventually memorizing the dance routine; it should just be used as a tool for rehearsal, as you get the muscle memory into your feet and body.
Let your child use the chart as needed, but rest assured that as she has to travel further and further to look up an answer, she will work on memorizing those facts!
