In hypertensive patients eprosartan does not affect fasting triglycerides, total cholesterol, or LDL (low density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels.
They also interact with indirectly acting sympathomimetic agents producing hypertensive crisis (directly acting drugs are thought to be safer).
In fact we were able to establish that this time I was not even borderline hypertensive - except in the presence of midwives.
