A printed copy, especially of the output of a computer or word processor.

A computer output printed on paper, film, or other permanent, tangible medium, as distinguished from information on a computer disk or in computer memory. Hard copy is not exactly carved in stone, but it cannot easily be changed. See also soft copy.
A computer printout, often supplied along with or instead of a video screen display.
