A hypothetical space-time tunnel or channel connecting a black hole with another universe, with a white hole, etc.
A hole made by a burrowing worm.
A theoretical distortion of space-time that would link points in space through a second set of paths, some of which could be shorter than the shortest path without the wormhole. It is not known whether workholes are possible.
(physics) A theoretical distortion of space-time in a region of the universe that would link one location or time with another, through a path that is shorter in distance or duration than would otherwise be expected.
