Teleradiology meaning

("long distance" radiology) The diagnosis of X-rays, MRIs and CAT scans by a radiologist in a remote location. Digital images can be transmitted anywhere in the world for diagnosis, and the radiologist no longer has to be in the same location where the images were taken. See telehealth.
