Roman Numerals: The traditional clock face numerals (I, II, III, IV, etc.) used in old-style watches.
From 1 to 12 the numbers sometimes lie in the circumference of a circle, an arrangement obviously suggested by a clock-face; in these cases the series usually mounts upwards from 12.
Inside the locket is a Roman numeral clock face with a crystal mounted in the center.
If a pendant clock face is too small, it can be difficult to read.
