He was ordained deacon in 1778 on the title of the curacies of Shepton Beauchamp and Sparkford, Somerset; and took priest's orders in 1780.
SAMUEL HOOD HOOD, VISCOUNT (1724-1816), British admiral, was the son of Samuel Hood, vicar of Butleigh in Somerset, and prebendary of Wells.
The fall of Somerset in the following month raised Bonner's hopes, and he appealed from Cranmer to the council.
