He had lighted on some fragments of the Vendidad Sade, and formed the project of a voyage to India to discover the works of Zoroaster.
At the age of 18, Sade attended the Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London.
Sade's vocals drew the attention of Epic Records, the company that signed her along with three members of Pride.
The band was renamed for its lead singer, Sade, and released its first album in 1984, called Diamond Life.
Sade was nominated for and won the Grammy Award in 1995 for Best New Artist.
