unconstitutional - Legal Definition
In conflict with the letter or intent of the United
States Constitution. When a statute is found to be unconstitutional, all
obligations arising from it are unlawful, and no person can be held accountable
for having failed to live up to his or her obligations under that statute, nor
is the statute enforceable.
