Kwukyel Definition

noun

One of three early systems for writing Korean phonetically with Chinese characters before the invention of the modern hangul (한글) script, resembling the old Japanese kanbun-kundoku (漢文訓読) style. The other two ancient Korean systems were hyangchal and idu.
