Affirmations, similar to an oath, aligning an individual with the specific set of rules of conduct consistent with a specific Bodhisattva tradition (similar to Catholic or Anglican order) within Buddhism, by which the individual transforms and sanctifies their ontological status in the style of the corresponding tradition.
