remaster - Computer Definition
To create a new version from the original. It may refer to audio, video or film remastering, in which the original recording or film is located and becomes the input to more modern or sophisticated editing and publishing processes. It may also refer to software remastering, which enhances a version of source code for distribution to a new audience.
