Cymbals come in many sizes. The smallest, called segat, sejjat, zills or finger cymbals, range from between about 1-3/4" to 4" in diameter, and are played two in each hand. Hand cymbals such as Japanese taiko players use are slightly larger, and are played one in each hand. The largest cymbals are the most commonly used in western style music.
