a broad, flat-topped cluster of flowers in which the outer flower stalks are long and those toward the center progressively shorter, as in the candytuft
Etymology: Fr corymbe < L corymbus, cluster of fruit or flowers < Gr korymbos; akin to korys: see corydalis
