Tax-schedules Definition

Tax forms that are used in addition to Form 1040 in order to complete a tax return. There are dozens of tax schedules, however the more well-known forms include: Schedule A, which reports itemized deductions such as medical expenses, mortgage interest, and charitable contributions, Schedule B, which reports dividend and interest income, Schedule C, which reports business expenses, and Schedule D, which reports capital gains and losses.
