A major upgrade to NetWare in 2001. Providing remote storage and backup over the Internet via drive mapping, NetWare 6 also added remote printing (see IPP). It included disk pooling, which treated all disks in a storage subsystem as one. With iFolder synchronization, traveling users could obtain automatic backup, and they could access NetWare 6 from their Web browser without requiring client-side software (see NetWare client). See MPK and NetWare.
