Ytterby

Pronounced Iterbe. The village in Sweden where the element erbium (Er) was discovered. So were the elements ytterbium, yttrium, and terbium. Also discovered in Ytterby was the element holmium, but it was named for Stockholm, which is some 10 miles distant.
