Weierstrass
(vīˈər-sträsˌ -shträsˌ), Karl Theodor Wilhelm 1815-1897.
German mathematician. Noted for his contributions to real and complex analysis, he was the first to construct an example of a continuous function that could not be differentiated anywhere.
