Trap Doors and
Back Doors
Hacker Definition
Undocumented software features that allow a
user to gain computer access to or greater privileges through its use. These
features may be a software bug or something added by a programmer during software
development that was not removed when the software went into production. A trap
door, often considered to be a synonym for back door, is frequently used by crackers to facilitate exploits.
