tractor feed - Computer Definition
A mechanism that moves paper forms through a printer. It uses a sproket that engages paper with perforated holes in its left and right borders. A "pull" tractor pulls the forms through the printer mechanism, while a "push" tractor pushes the forms. Contrast with sheet feeder.
