Torne
(tôrˈnə) also Tor·ni·o (tôrˈnē-ōˌ)
A river of northern Sweden rising near the Norwegian border in Lake Torne and flowing about 402 km (250 mi) generally southeast to the Gulf of Bothnia. It forms the Swedish-Finnish border in its lower course.
