TMN - Computer Definition
Established by the ITU-T in 1985 in Recommendation M.3000,TMN is an architectural framework for the interconnection of operations support system (OSS) components and network elements (NEs), and defines the standard interfaces and protocols for the exchange of information between them.TMN also describes the functional requirements for network management. (Telecommunications Management Network) A set of international standards for network management from the ITU. It is used by large carriers such as Sprint, Verizon and AT&T.
