Xerox PARC definition - telecom
The Xerox research center where a number of significant inventions were made in the 1970s.The first graphical user interface (GUI) was invented there, as was Ethernet, laser printing, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Xerox PARC is now PARC (Palo Alto Research Center, Inc.), an independent research and development company.
