WOTS definition - telecom
A wireless telephone system generally in the form of one or more adjuncts that provide cordless telephony communications capabilities behind PBXs, electronic key telephone systems (EKTS), or Centrex systems.WOTS generally are limited to voice applications, although some also support low-speed data. WOTS systems involve a wireless master controller, which is hardwired to special ports on the voice communications system.
