V.120 definition - telecom
The ITU-T Recommendation that specifies support for data terminal equipment (DTE) with asynchronous or synchronous serial interfaces over an ISDN network through data encapsulation.V.120 includes specifications for allowing multiple terminals to share a 64-kbps bearer channel (B channel) through statistical time division multiplexing (STDM). See also asynchronous, B channel, ISDN, STDM, and synchronous.
