UGS definition - telecom
A WiMAX quality of service (QoS) level involving a polling schedule designed for services that periodically generate fixed units of data. T1, E-1, and other services based on time division multiplexing (TDM) require UGS polling. See also E-1, QoS, T1, TDM, and WiMAX.
