UCD

UCD definition - telecom
A standard feature of many PBXs that automatically routes incoming calls to the next available agent, scanning agent ports in a predetermined, rigid hunt pattern. A UCD serves many of the same functions as an automatic call distributor (ACD), but lacks the same level of intelligence and, therefore, is much less capable. See also ACD.
