Token Bus definition - telecom
A local area network (LAN) standard defined in IEEE 802.4, token bus is a token passing protocol based on a physical bus topology. Token Bus is considered an orphaned standard, as the 802.4 committee disbanded in 2004 due to lack of interest. See also bus, Ethernet, LAN, and token passing.
