TMN definition - telecom
Established by the ITU-T in 1985 in Recommendation M.3000,TMN is an architectural framework for the interconnection of operations support system (OSS) components and network elements (NEs), and defines the standard interfaces and protocols for the exchange of information between them.TMN also describes the functional requirements for network management.
