P1024B definition - telecom
A Unisys protocol used in airline reservations systems such as American Airlines' SABRE System and United Airlines' APOLLO. Both P1024B and Airline Link Control (ALC), the IBM version, employ a non-standard six-bit coding scheme. See also coding scheme and protocol.
