ODU definition - telecom
An entity for processing in an Optical Transport Network (OTN). An ODU comprises a frame or series of frames in their native protocol, encapsulated in a digital wrapper for network management purposes. See also digital wrapper, encapsulate, frame, network management, OTN, and protocol.
