OADM
OADM definition - telecom
In wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) a device that is able to add or drop individual wavelengths without separating all wavelengths and certainly without converting them to electrical format. An OADM is a purely optical version of an ADM. See also ADM, wavelength, and WDM.
