NEC

NEC definition - telecom
A set of standards published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for the safe installation of electrical wiring and optical fiber and equipment on the premises. The NEC is approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as ANSI NFPA 70, and its use is commonly mandated by state and local law.The NEC is updated and published every three years.
