MS definition - telecom
A wireless portable terminal device used in a radio network designed to establish and maintain connections between mobile terminals or between mobile terminals and one or more fixed base stations (BSs) while in motion. Such networks include cellular radio and specialized mobile radio (SMR). See also BS, cellular radio, and SMR.
