MFR definition - telecom
A service that bundles multiple T1 local loops to provide access to frame relay at speeds between T1 and T3. MFR essentially is a form of inverse multiplexing that also offers a significant measure of redundancy. See also frame relay, inverse multiplexing, local loop, T1, and T3.
