J-band definition - telecom
The range of radio frequencies from 10 GHz to 20 GHz in the super high frequency (SHF) range of the electromagnetic spectrum.The J-band is used for satellite communications and radar applications. See also electromagnetic spectrum, radar, satellite, and SHF.
