IGP

IGP definition - telecom
An interior protocol for routing within an Autonomous System (AS), i.e., a group of routers within a given administrative domain. IGP was described in IETF RFC 1074 (1988). Common IGPs include the Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol.
