HiperLAN2 definition - telecom
A mobile short-range access network specified in the Broadband Radio Access Networks (BRAN) project chartered by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). HiperLAN/2, a competes directly with IEEE 802.11g/n, aka Wi-Fi. See also 802.11g, 802.11n, BRAN, ETSI, HiperLAN/1, and Wi-Fi.
