end user definition - telecom
The ultimate user of a product or service, especially of a computer system, application, or network. The end user is at the bottom of the hierarchy, yet is (or should be) the focus of all attention, for it is the end user (or end user organization) that makes purchase decisions and ultimately pays the bills, although vendors sometimes seem to forget that detail.
