continuous redial definition - telecom
Also known as repeat dial. A CLASS programmable service feature of the public switched telephone network (PSTN). Continuous redial enables the caller encountering a busy signal or no answer to request that the network continuously redial the telephone number for a period of time or until the call is successfully completed. See also CLASS and PSTN.
