calling name and number blocking definition - telecom
A feature of CLASS service that allows the calling party to block calling name delivery and calling number delivery, also known as calling line identification (CLID), on a permanent basis, or on an ad hoc basis by dialing a code prior to dialing the destination telephone number. See also CLASS and CLID.
