call completion service definition - telecom
In the advanced intelligent network (AIN) specifications, a feature that enables the directory assistance operator to extend the call automatically, perhaps at an additional charge. This capability is widely offered by providers of cellular service to prevent accidents caused by driving and dialing. See also AIN.
