Wireless local loop (WLL) technologies supporting broadband performance to individual end users. BWA technologies include both radio frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) solutions. RF-based solutions include Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS), Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Services (MMDS), and Wireless Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX).
