Referring to television video signal that has the strength, color balance, and lack of artifacts good enough to be used as a source for a TV station transmission of the best quality. The frame rate is 30 frames per second (fps) or more.At that rate, the perception is one of complete fluidity of motion. See also artifact, frame rate, and motion picture quality.
