802.22 definition - telecom
The IEEE Working Group on Wireless Regional Area Networks (WRANs). 802.22 is an initiative directed toward the development of a cognitive radio air interface for use by license-exempt radios on a non-interfering basis in spectrum currently allocated to television broadcast service.
