802.11i definition - telecom
The IEEE standard (June 2004) for 802.11 wireless LAN (WLAN) security mechanisms. The standard is more commonly known as WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access version 2), which is the fully compliant mechanism developed and promoted by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
